IT-BG Advisors was founded with a simple American dream to be an independent women owned business owner. Our values are built on transparency, assisting others, and commitment to supporting the mission.
Founded by Colleen Kanies in Tampa, Florida, in 2020.
IT-BG Advisors is a certified 100% Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB).
Before founding IT-BG Advisors, Colleen worked as an open-source analyst for a small business Hubzone who supported government contracts, where she supported business operations through data analysis, financial tracking, and system requirements. She also contributed to the DHS/CWMD program, utilizing her expertise to track system requirements as a Requirements Analyst/Cost Analyst.
